Project Breakdown

In February 2024, Solar Set completed the 1.2MW solar installation at logistics and delivery company Aramex Australia’s new 26,120sqm warehouse at Brisbane Airport.

The 26-person installation team laid 3,890 panels across a 13,000sqm section of the Aramex warehouse roof in the new Airport Industrial Park.

Due to height restrictions associated with flight paths, the team had to walk the individual panels to the installation area. The project also includes approximately 28 kilometres of cable.

The system is expected to generate more than 5 MWh of clean energy per day, helping Brisbane Airport Corporation (BAC), which operates its own electricity distribution network across Brisbane Airport, supply more than 500 businesses with power.

Solar Set met the 12 week delivery timeframe, managing a tight construction timetable to coincide with the practical completion of the development.
